Victoria Carlson - 2024 NLC Broward Fellow

Victoria M. Carlson (she/her) is an advocate for educational equity, mental health, and racial justice. Born in Miami from a Caribbean family, she has seen first-hand the inequities that exist in the education system and the broader Miami community.

In her current role as Senior Evaluation Manager, she has dedicated her service to ensuring data equity is a part of the conversation while supporting scholars in the Miami-Dade education system most under-resourced and under-funded schools. Working to be a model of advocacy, inclusion, consistency, teamwork, and dedication. Honing her skills in data analysis, problem-solving, project management, DEIB, and people management.

Graduating from the University of Miami with her bachelor's degree in Math: Probability & Statistics and finishing her master’s degree in Human Resource Development at Barry University in December 2023. She was honored as one of Legacy Miami’s 40 Under 40 Miami’s Black Leaders of Today and Tomorrow in 2022.
