Traci Simmons - 2025 NLC Kentucky Fellow

Traci L Simmons(she/her) is an educator and Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Advocate. She established her expertise in supporting individuals through education and mental health support. In her current role as Clinician Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, she works to support Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Survivors, LGTBQIA+, African American Women and those dealing with Religious and Racial Trauma. She has earned her bachelor's degree in hospitality management with a minor in Business from the University of Kentucky, two master's degrees in divinity (Theology) and Marriage and Family Therapy both from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. She spent over five years supporting survivors of power based violence survivors in the Louisville, Kentucky area. Traci grew up in Louisville, Kentucky and is dedicated to supporting marginalized communities.
