Taylor Jackson is a Political Consultant and campaign staffer based in St. Louis, Missouri. Most recently, she was the Campaign Manager for Kathy Ellis for US Congress, a 30-country Congressional campaign based in rural Southeast Missouri, where she managed a team of 10 and innovated rural organizing and campaign strategies that are being duplicated across the state. Prior to her work on this campaign, she worked extensively with national and Missouri-based clients to develop organizing plans, messaging strategies, and fundraising plans through her consulting firm, Taylor Jackson Consulting, and also worked as the Field Director on a 2018 rural race in Missouri. Prior to her work on campaigns, Taylor worked as Union Organizer with SEIU Local 1 and an Organizer with Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis region. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Taylor is a proud 2017 graduate of Saint Louis University, where she studied Sociology and Women’s and Gender Studies, with minors in Political Science and Urban Poverty Studies. She currently lives in St. Louis with her spouse, Tommy English, and two rescue dogs, Cassie and June. In her free time, Taylor likes to camp and hike with her family, re-watch Parks and Rec episodes, and she has spent the last year designing and flipping a 1911 home in a historic St. Louis neighborhood. Taylor is most passionate about building a stronger progressive bench in rural Missouri, with a specific focus on innovative organizing strategies and investing in local candidates.
