Sharon Kim
Sharon Kim - 2024 NLC Columbus Fellow
Sharon Kim (she/her) is an organizer and board member with Asian American Midwest Progressives/AAMP. She is also a member of OPAWL, a statewide progressive feminist grassroots organization building power for AAPI women and AAPI gender expansive people in Ohio. Sharon is also part of the Columbus Education Justice Coalition, a group of community partners, parents, students, educators and labor union members who believe that a fair and just public education for everyone in Columbus City Schools is a civil and human right. Sharon currently works in clinical research administration with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She got her start in clinical research at her alma mater, The Ohio State University.
Sharon is a second generation Korean-American, born in Boston and raised in a suburb outside of Cleveland. After a stint on the east coast, she returned to Columbus with her husband and two children.
