Sharice Richards - 2024 NLC New York City Fellow
Sharice Richards (she/her) is an educator and education advocate. She believes that every child deserves an equitable education. Sharice graduated from SUNY Potsdam in 2011. Then she attended CUNY Queens College and graduated magna cum laude in 2016. She has a bachelor’s degree in Spanish language & literature and a master’s degree in childhood education (grades 1-6). Sharice lives in Brooklyn, NY where she enjoys reading books and checking out restaurants. She has spent the last seven years teaching elementary school in Brooklyn, Queens and The Bronx. Sharice grew up in South Ozone Park, Queens. She is a lifelong advocate for new teachers, children and their families and looks forward to making an impact in her community.
