Sattie Nyachwaya is a Community Connector and Activist. Sattie believes in building and creating new leaders with encouraging advocacy and storytelling. In her current role, she is committed to connecting and mobilize HIV, Reproductive, and LGBTQ communities, teaching fundamentals of advocacy and activism, and strategically helping disrupt policies that need to be change. Sattie has a bachelor’s degree in Public Health at Walden University and working on her Master’s in Public Administration with a focus on Public Policy and Law.
Sattie is the Secretary, board of directors at The Afiya Center, Dallas TX. Sattie has been recognized as A finalist for D CEO Magazine’s Outstanding Healthcare Advocate Award and is a founder Co-Chair for Dallas’ first BIPOC-led Reproductive March. Sattie grew up in East Texas, but moved back to Dallas, TX in 2011. Sattie determined to see better, stronger community with access for all.
