Sally Martin

Sally Martin (she/her) is a creative event planner in Lexington, KY, and believes that contributing to the world's work starts in the community where you are placed. Originally from Owensboro, Kentucky, she moved to Lexington in 2016 to attend the University of Kentucky where she was heavily involved in campus life.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Media Arts as a Social Enterprise Scholar in 2020. Deciding there was still more to learn, she stayed to complete her Masters of Public Administration and a Certificate in Non-Profit Management in 2022.

Never knowing what her career path would be, she found herself at The Kentucky Castle as their Special Events Manager where she loves logistics and creative problem-solving. Most importantly, she is passionate about women's rights and strategic planning for non-profits. She always has a book or recipe to recommend and sees each day as an adventure.
