Ray Duncan
Ray Duncan - 2024 NLC Detroit Fellow
Ray Duncan (she/her) is a waymaker and change agent. She is a voice for the underrepresented and works to bring their voices to every room she occupies. Ray spent twelve years of her life in Japan because her dad served in the U.S. Navy and her mom was an educator all which helped shape her worldview and why she chose a field where she could serve her community. In her current role, Ray works for a local elected official working on policies and resolutions that aim to serve and positively impact the residents of Detroit.
Ray attended Howard University in Washington, D.C. where she graduated magna cum laude in 2019. She obtained a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Sociology. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, traveling, and learning new ways she interact and serve her community.
