Raven Douglas is the Political Director of Texas Future Project, a progressive donor collaborative that builds movement infrastructure for movement groups across the Lone Star State. Raven has been a long time champion of voting rights.
She is a graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. For her senior capstone project Raven wrote her honors thesis on the impact of the Texas Voter ID Law in communities of color during the 2014 midterm election and in 2019 Raven was selected as a MTV Leaders for Change grantee, a grant program that invests in young people doing extraordinary work at the local level to advance voting access.
Raven has previously held positions at MOVE Texas, America Votes, the UTSA Policy Studies Center, and worked as a Legislative Aide for State Representative Nicole Collier during the 2017 legislative session.
