Raquel Tiyaga – Wisconsin

Raquel Tiyaga, who goes by Rocky is an ambitious and persistent individual with an interest in public health and medicine. She recently succeeded in earning a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology with an emphasis in Physiology at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and is now pursuing a Master's in Global Health at Northwestern University. From here, she plans to pursue a professional degree within the medical field. She is excited to participate as a fellow for New Leaders Council in order to further develop and refine their professional self, as well as effectively utilize her skills and experience to better the underserved and under-resourced Milwaukee community.
