Rachael Beeman
Rachael Beeman - 2025 NLC Columbus Fellow
Rachael Beeman (she/they) is a climate justice advocate and works to understand how communities are impacted by and respond to a changing climate. Rachael currently works as the Director of Climate Strategy for the Human Service Chamber of Franklin County and has previously worked as an Environmental Planner with the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission. She works at the intersection of community, nonprofits and local government to build meaningful community engagement programs and implements programs focused on improving social cohesion and building individual and community resilience. Rachael holds a B.S. in Urban & Regional Planning and a M.S. in Environment and Resource Economics. Rachael is an outdoor enthusiast and if they're not playing softball, Rachael is traveling with her wife and son.
