Preston Salazar - 2025 NLC South TX Frontera Fellow
Preston Salazar (He/Him) is a community organizer and advocate from Laredo, Texas. He is a Senior in Texas A&M International University pursuing a B.A. in Political Science with aspirations of becoming a Policy Researcher. Since 2018, he has addressed issues like climate change, immigrant rights, and reproductive rights. Through co-founding the Network for Opportunity, Progress, Advocacy, and Liberation (NOPAL), Preston has further pursued his passion for advocacy by providing local political education and supporting nonprofit organizations within his community. He serves as the Social Change Coordinator for the Office of Student, Orientation, Leadership, and Engagement at his university where he facilitates the Freshman Leadership Organization. In his free time, Preston loves to listen to music, make playlists, and spend time with friends.
