Noah Bazis
Noah Bazis - 2024 NLC Chicago Fellow
Noah Bazis is a public policy/data analyst, economic justice advocate, and quintessential happy warrior. Noah has committed the rest of his life to building poor and working-class power to topple wealth inequality and abolish human exploitation. He began his work in environmental justice recruiting Greenpeace donors on the streets of Chicago, completed two terms of service with AmeriCorps Public Allies in Bronzeville and South Shore, and managed the nation’s sixth-largest volunteer tax prep workforce.
To gain the skills needed to create widespread change, he trained with the Midwest Academy, earned a Data Science programming certificate, and is completing his Master’s thesis in Public Policy and Administration at Northwestern University, studying the ways inequality degrades public discourse and facilitates democratic backsliding. Noah is excited to strategize and win with other progressive leaders at NLC and can be found scuba diving or playing heavy metal in his spare time.
