Miriam Wynn - 2024 NLC Atlanta Fellow

Miriam Wynn is a first generation Egyptian American advocating for humane treatment of all people. Miriam empowers young women and combines her fervent leadership and global perspectives to bridge diverse communities.

In 2023, Miriam became the first Egyptian American woman recognized by the Georgia General Assembly for her work in establishing the creation of Egyptian American Day in the State of Georgia, celebrated annually highlighting contributions of Egyptian communities. She serves in the Perfect Love Foundation, Junior League of Atlanta, the DEI Organization at Delta Air Lines, and the World Affairs Council. In her former role, Miriam created “Community Connections” airing weekly on 11Alive News to support the voice of the community. Miriam is also a singer, inspired to use her voice to make a positive impact on tomorrows future.

Expanding on years of education in music, Miriam is currently pursuing a B.I.S in Global Studies from Georgia State University.
