Mattie Forte

Mattie (xe/they) is a non-binary Environmental Educator at the San Francisco Bay Area Non-Profit - the Youth Science Institute. Mattie is an Archivist for the Nomenus Church of the Radical Faeries - an LGBTQ organization that has honored the deceased of the HIV/AIDS epidemic since it's inception and runs an 80 acres land project in Wolf Creek, OR. Mattie is finishing xe's masters degree in Teaching in the Biological Sciences and has focused on inclusion and equity for queer youth in environmental education. Mattie in their free time is a fire spinner and cares for their elderly father with Parkinson's Disease.
