Matt Walsh
Matt Walsh - 2025 NLC Boston Fellow
Matt Walsh (he/him) is a proud organizer and advocate for housing, climate, economic, educational, energy, and transportation justice. Matt graduated from Amherst College in 2019, where he majored in Political Science and French. He currently works in Government Affairs for Greater Boston’s Metropolitan Area Planning Council, advocating for equitable housing, planning and energy policy in the Massachusetts State House. Matt previously served as a Legislative Aide in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Before working in government, Matt spent two cycles as an organizer and fundraiser on electoral campaigns, including Senator Ed Markey's 2020 reelection campaign, fmr. Congressman Kai Kahele's 2020 campaign to unseat Tulsi Gabbard, and city council races in Malden and Boston. Matt is an avid skier, hiker, and traveler, and an aspiring polyglot.
