Mariana Lopes

Mariana Lopes is a community builder, lifelong learner, and steadfast believer of compassionate leadership. She serves children and families in Palm Beach County as the Community Development Coordinator at Friends of Foster Children. Mariana received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University, with a minor in Law and Society. She grew up in Broward County and is proud of her Brazilian heritage. When she’s not working, Mariana can be found reading, traveling, in the outdoors, listening to music, or a glorious combination of these. She is driven by her faith and love of people–adamant that through collective empowerment, we will live in a world where the marginalized, oppressed, and disadvantaged have the education and resources they need to thrive.
