Madison Poore - 2024 NLC New York City Fellow

Madison Poore (she/her/hers) is a committed advocate of reproductive health, rights, and justice. Currently serving as a Grants Manager in Columbia University’s OBGYN Research Department, she collaborates with faculty researchers to fund women’s health research. Prior to her current role, she worked for the Guttmacher Institute, a nonprofit focused on sexual and reproductive health research and advocacy. She is deeply involved in letter-writing campaigns with the New York City chapter of Survived & Punished (S&P), a nonprofit focused on advocating for survivors of gender-based and sexual violence.

Madison holds a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College, where she majored in Anthropology and earned a certificate in Reproductive Health Rights and Justice. Beyond her professional pursuits, Madison finds joy in spending time with her recent cat rescue, Gwen, and participating in her local Brooklyn run club.
