Lisl Ost (she/her) is a community organizer dedicated to fostering equitable and inclusive communities. Raised by immigrant communities in Beaumont, Texas, her upbringing instilled a deep belief in shared responsibility and collective care. She later lived in Vancouver, Canada, where she observed people-centered policies that work for the working class, shaping her advocacy for improving access to jobs, healthcare, representation and paths to citizenship.
Lisl has led a variety of campaigns, including ballot initiatives like the San Antonio Justice Charter and congressional races for now-Congressman Greg Casar. Her work focuses on advancing policies that prioritize people over profit.
In her free time, Lisl enjoys fostering animals through San Antonio Animal Care Services, supporting the local improv community, and DIY-ing house renovations with her husband, Matt.
