Lexington Souers
Lexington Souers - 2025 NLC Kentucky Fellow
Named after one of Kentucky's largest cities, Lexington Souers (she/her) is a communications professional at a nonprofit in central Kentucky. She holds a B.A. in Journalism and History from the University of Kentucky, as well as a J.D. from the J. David Rosenberg College of Law. During law school, Lexington combined her passions for writing and law as editor-in-chief of the Kentucky Journal of Equine, Agriculture, and Natural Resources Law.
Her professional experience includes roles in state government and local journalism, having worked as a staff attorney and legislative analyst and as a reporter for a community newspaper. Outside of work, Lexington enjoys reading, hiking with her local hiking group, and spending time with her golden retriever, Una.
