Leah Johnson

Leah Johnson (she/her) is a political fundraiser and campaigner. She believes that through running well-funded and organized campaigns, we can elect leaders who embody our values and further our advocacy for a more equitable America. In her current role as Deputy Finance Director for U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown’s re-election campaign, Leah works with a team of fundraisers, partners, and donors around the state and country to cultivate support for the campaign. Leah has previously directed fundraising programs for candidates at the federal, state, and local levels. A proud daughter of the “rust belt,” Leah was raised in a family of manufacturers in the far east side suburbs of Cleveland.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Fordham University in New York City. Leah now lives in Columbus, Ohio, where she can be found perfecting her favorite vegan recipes and taking way too many photos of her cat, Opal.
