Lana Mims

Lana Mims (she/her, they/them) is a fitness professional, former athletic director, and teacher in South Florida. She is currently working on building her personal training business and getting involved in more LGBTQIA+ events. As a Track & Field athlete at the University of Missouri, Lana developed a love for all things active and has realized the important role movement plays in her life and in the lives of others. During her time in college, she was a team captain and involved with multiple organizations which often allowed her to act as a liaison or spokesperson for various groups. Public interaction and group engagement is still one of Lana’s passions today. You can catch her hosting an entertainment show in Wilton Manor, on the podcast Unapologetically Queer, or performing as a drag king across South Florida!
