Lamya Clinton - 2025 NLC Atlanta Fellow

Lamya Holley Clinton grew up in Oak Park, Ill., spent over a decade in New Orleans, and has lived in Metro Atlanta for 12 years. As a cardiac sonographer at one of the South’s largest medical systems and a constituent services representative for the City of South Fulton, Lamya is committed to improving access to healthcare—including art therapy—fostering community development, and amplifying residents' voices. She earned a bachelor’s degree in speech communications with a focus on theater arts from Dillard University and is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. In her free time, Lamya enjoys boating, the arts, and volunteering. She resides in South Fulton with her family, where her passion for service and advocacy continues to shape her leadership journey.
