Kristen Dupard
Kristen Dupard - 2025 NLC Maryland Fellow
Kristen is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and a white-collar/ government investigations attorney at Jenner & Block LLP. She first became involved in government when she founded an initiative to register students across campus to vote. Her work eventually led her to Washington, DC, to work for the late Senator Thad Cochran.
After her time on Capitol Hill, she participated in a Public Health Fellowship at Columbia University. After her fellowship, she felt a calling to enter law school at Columbia Law School, with a focus on the intersection of law, politics, and policy. She has also worked for the Senate Judiciary Committee, the NAACP, and the DNC. Following law school, Kristen clerked for Judge Curtis Collier and worked as a public defender in DC.
