Keerthana Hogirala

Keerthana is committed to driving systemic change that ensures equitable access to quality public services, particularly healthcare, and improves the welfare and wellbeing of our most underserved communities. She’s currently an MBA/MPP dual degree student at the University of Chicago exploring how best to utilize technology, design, and innovation in this mission.

In her prior roles at the District of Columbia Public Schools, Keerthana oversaw the agency's technology strategy and multi-year digital transformation process. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she served on the core team with the Chief Operating Officer that managed the school system's response to the health crisis and city-wide operations.

Outside of work, Keerthana is a longtime volunteer for progressive political and advocacy campaigns. She also supports nonprofits and government agencies by advising on organizational functions. She spends her free time with family and friends going to concerts, hosting dinner parties, and exploring new places with a camera.
