July Andrea Duarte

July Andrea Duarte (She/They/Ella/Elle) is a proud daughter of a Colombian Immigrant and a community support leader. Currently an employee at the Hilltop Library in Columbus Ohio. She began working there as an intern in 2015 and became a Customer Service Specialist in 2017. She graduated with a nursing degree in 2021 but she knew her work with the Hilltop community was far from over and accepted a full-time position within the library. She has planned festivals, outreach events, and fundraisers all in hopes of giving every dreamer a chance to succeed. She's also on the board of the Hilltop Shalom Zone a local non-profit. Andrea's passion lies in helping others unconditionally. She wants to continue to create opportunities and support systems for immigrant families, the unhoused, and other vulnerable populations within her community.

Andrea also enjoys spending time with their loved ones, foraging, and musicals.
