Joy Kathurima – Omaha

Joy Kathurima (she/her) is a lawyer. She practices family law and estate planning. While Joy is early in her career, she has always been a passionate advocate for social justice. Joy serves as a mentor for high school and college students interested in pursuing a legal career focusing on working with students of color to help diversify the legal profession. Joy graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in College of Law in 2019. She has a bachelor's degree in Sociology. In 2019, she was awarded the Woods and Aitken Outstanding Student Award from the Dean's Advisory Board. Joy lives in Omaha, Nebraska, where she enjoys caring for her plants and spending time with family and friends.
