Josephine Kong

Josephine Kong (she/her) is an advocate for creating diversity and inclusivity in technology to empower individuals and communities. As a Sunnyvale native, she believes that tech education and careers should be made accessible to all. Josephine works in advertising technology as a Social Media Ad Operations Specialist at Frequence Inc. As a remote DOROT tech coach volunteer, Josephine helps older adults gain confidence in navigating technology to stay connected and alleviate social isolation. She also enjoys being an advisory board member and marketing/membership volunteer for the Chinese Historical & Cultural Project.

Josephine attended St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX, graduating with a BBA in International Business and Marketing. Her hobbies include singing in a choir, doing Zumba, traveling, and exploring the latest food trends. She strongly believes in servant leadership and building collaborative, open spaces to lead positive changes in Silicon Valley.
