Josef Ventulan

Josef Ventulan is an attorney in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University and his Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center, where he graduated first in his class and received a certification in Tax Law. n nDuring his law school matriculation, he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Southern University Law Review and has been published with the Southern University Law Review and the American Bar Association for Law Students. He has clerked with Entergy’s in-house counsel in New Orleans; the East Baton Rouge Parish Public Defender’s Office; Simon, Peragine, Smith, & Redfearn, LLP; Hammonds, Sills, Adkins, & Guice, LLP; and has interned for the U.S. Middle District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana under the Honorable Shelly D. Dick, Chief Judge. n nJosef is currently the staff attorney for the Honorable Lisa Woodruff-White of the Family Court of East Baton Rouge. He also serves as a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association’s Publications Committee and as a member of Forum 225’s Barton Leadership 2020 Cohort. His professional interests include economic and tax policy, Access to Justice, the Innocence Project, and local economic development. He has recently been nominated to serve as a junior member on the Louisiana State Law Institute.
During his free time, Josef enjoys volunteering, baking, and exploring local eateries.
