Joi McAtee

Joi McAtee is a lifelong Louisvillian who takes tremendous pride in her hometown and currently serves as the Executive Director of the Office of Equity at Louisville Metro Government.

Joi McAtee is dedicated to uplifting her city by any means necessary, and her work is reflected in her passion for improving equitable outcomes for historically marginalized communities through policy, advocacy, and resources.

A disciple of servant-leadership, Joi commits her time to West Louisville neighborhood cleanup projects and voter registration drives. Joi serves on the Board of Directors at Maryhurst Inc., is the Vice-President of Advocacy for Louisville Young Democrats; Executive Committee Member for the Louisville Jefferson County Democratic Party, on the Park Hill/Algonquin Advisory Board Steering Committee, Executive Committee for the Kentucky Derby Festival Block Party; and is a member of Young Professionals of Louisville (YPAL), and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
