John Scott

John Scott (he/him) is a wildlife conservation professional, and LGBTQ+ community advocate. He believes that a better world is possible for all of us through the conservation of wildlife and wild places, and greater inclusion of all people. After being born and raised in Connecticut, John graduated from Fordham University in 2012 with a BA in Political Science and Environmental Studies, and graduated with a MA in Biology from Miami University in 2019. He works for the Wildlife Conservation Society in Fundraising/Development, and is also an elected official in the New York State Democratic Committee representing the 34th Assembly District (Astoria and Jackson Heights, Queens).
