Jerrod O. Lockhart (he/him) is committed to the critical process of change. He believes each person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. In his current role as the Director of Transition Programs and Initiatives at the University of Arkansas he works alongside a team of dedicated individuals to create programs and support experiences that align with belonging, mattering, and community. Jerrod attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies, master degrees in Communication Studies & Social Work, and a Specialist Degree in College Administration. He has been married 20+ years to Lorenda and they have one so Braylon and bonus loves Tristian, Jr, & Ocean. He life-long advocate for destigmatizing mental health care in marginalized communities.
