Jd Weatherspoon

As a Florida-born, globally-minded, grassroots-driven human catalyst, JD has played a hand in numerous initiatives and programs both domestically, and abroad. His field of expertise spans from peer education and youth mentoring, to program development and project management. A few of his exploits include the Harvard Center for AIDS Research (HUCFAR) "Forgotten Epidemic" project, the US Refugee Processing Center (Arlington, VA), El Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (Bucaramanga, Colombia), and the US Peace Corps (Kampong Chhnang, Cambodia).

A passionate believer in the importance of strategy and process, JD has been dubbed by his colleagues as "The Lord of Logistics". He is also a co-founder of Mastermind Connect, a collective designed to empower progressive men of color realize deep connections with their passions, higher self and Community.
