Jared Tolbert - 2025 NLC Atlanta Fellow
Jared Tolbert (He/Him) is a Public Health Advisor on women’s health policies at the Department of Health and Human Services. He currently aids in coalition building efforts of both governmental and non-governmental entities with the aim of strengthening Maternal Mental Health Policies and outcomes. He received a bachelors in Animal Science Biotechnology from Fort Valley State University in 2011, a masters in Biology with a focus in Human Evolution from Georgia College & State University in 2013, and a masters in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University in 2020 where he studied epigenetic trauma markers and their implications in minority health. He is a native of Savannah, GA and currently resides in Atlanta, Ga where he is an avid board game collector, foodie, and video gamer.
