James Robinson

James Robinson is a multidisciplinary design leader. His work aligns what could be and what should be, transforming the relationship between people, technology, creativity, and culture and creating new ways of seeing, being, and doing. He previously led design at Syndicate, an early-stage startup where, as employee #1, he led the team in architecting a new, radically democratized vision of crypto-powered community-building that raised >$28M just a few months after founding. It's the latest in over a decade of work in startups, including one he founded in 2016 to help DEI pros better understand and address prejudice and injustice.

He loves to build communities, from his work to build design leadership through Design Executive Council, to helping ConstitutionDAO raise >$47M (from grassroots contributors) to return an original copy of the Constitution from private ownership to the American people. He's a native New Yorker and in love with this city.
