James Ennis
James Ennis - 2025 NLC New York City Fellow
James Ennis is an education advocate. He believes that every child deserves excellent education. In his role at Earl Monroe Basketball School, he's a founding educator, program director and media specialist. James graduated from DePauw University in 2014. He has a bachelor's degree in sociology. In 2010 James received the Posse Scholarship and in 2021 was recognized for his basketball careers curriculum in the New York Times, Good Morning America, USA Today, and SLAM Magazine. He's a recipient of the 2024 Bully Magazine Podcaster of the Year award. James lives in the Bronx, NY where he enjoys photography, podcasting and uplifting others. He spent the last ten years serving NYC schools and Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club. He is a lifelong advocate for educatation.
