Jacob Hunnicutt

Jacob Hunnicutt (he/him) is an education policy researcher with a background in labor and economic justice. Jacob’s professional and personal focus is on creating an educating system that cultivates trust, equity, and opportunity to millions of students across the U.S., particularly multilingual learners. Most recently, Jacob worked as a campaign field organizer with the Wisconsin Democratic Party for the 2024 Presidential Election. Previously, he worked as an education researcher with the Wheelock Education Policy Center, studying how advocacy materializes in the education space for students who are the sole English speakers in their home. This work is informed by Jacob’s time with Teach for America teaching 10th Grade U.S. History in Fall River.
