Ises Roopnarine

Ises Roopnarine is a native of Oakland, California, passionate about creating empowering, sustainable, and inclusive spaces for local communities.

After graduating from Howard University with a bachelor's degree in International Business and a minor in Supply Chain, Ises continued her mission to create positive change in the corporate world. Her advocacy for diverse business spend supports Ises passion for community development and business acumen.

Since joining the Northwest Arkansas community, Ises volunteers at local HBCU College Fairs, black business expos, and local career fairs. Ises is a member of Walmart’s Global Procurement Team and recently won the “Make a Difference Award” for continuing to improve the Walmart Associate Experience. As Ises moves forward in her career, she aims to leverage her experiences as a woman of color in the workplace to foster community support and allyship. Ises is mission-driven, passion-focused, and committed to creating safe spaces within her community.
