Isabel Caballero Teixeira

Isabel Caballero-Teixeira (she/her) is a student organizer and advocate for the unhoused community. Formerly unhoused herself, she sees homelessness as both a system failure and a community responsibility. Isabel is actively involved in the Foothill-De Anza Community College Political Action Committee, championing housing initiatives for students and faculty while taking on a leadership role. She advocates for education equity and engages in lobbying efforts at both the local and state levels. She is currently embarking on a path towards becoming a doctor and resides in San Jose, California, aiming to catalyze positive change in her community. In her free time, Isabel enjoys roller skating, sewing, and hiking.
