Hamze Ahmed

Hamze Ahmed (he/him) is a seasoned grassroots organizer and public speaker with over a decade of experience serving immigrant and underserved communities in Columbus, Ohio. Passionate about community empowerment, Hamze has spent the last eight years honing his event planning expertise, leading impactful initiatives and conferences all around the country. He is currently an executive committee member for Youth Development of Columbus, a nonprofit focused on mentorship and education.

As a skilled advocate, Hamze has mobilized diaspora communities & collaborated with nonprofits, government agencies, and local organizations to create meaningful change. His work emphasizes civic engagement and expanding educational opportunities for underserved populations. In his free time, Hamze enjoys traveling, attending community events, and playing soccer. He is committed to fostering equity & opportunity for future generations.
