Genesis Britz - 2025 NLC South TX Frontera Fellow

Genesis Britz is an advocate for education equity, driven by her experiences as a first generation college student. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Philosophy at The University of Texas at Austin. She serves as Hispanic Caucus Chair for the University Democrats, Ambassador for the Women’s Resource Agency of Student Government and is an English tutor for refugee children across Austin ISD elementary schools.

Britz has been working on political campaigns since she was 16, from the Beto race for governor to the Harris and Waltz presidential campaign. She currently works as a Digital Engagement Coordinator for the Texas Education Alliance fostering innovation in education policy.
She is passionate about creating inclusive spaces and giving back to her community.
