Fatuma Mohamed - 2025 NLC Boston Fellow

Fatuma Mohamed is a passionate community organizer and youth advocate with a deep curiosity about the world and the global challenges it faces. She holds a Master’s in International Affairs and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Affairs from Northeastern University.

For the past four years, Fatuma has served as the Director of Youth Advocacy at the Council on American-Islamic Relations-Massachusetts (CAIR-MA). In this role, she has focused on amplifying marginalized voices, creating empowering spaces for young leaders, and driving systemic change through mentorship and advocacy.

In her free time, Fatuma loves traveling, taking walks while enjoying a good audiobook, and spending quality time with her family and community. Her work and passions reflect her commitment to building a more just world.
