Evans Genece, a first-generation American of Haitian and Liberian descent, is a sales professional in the tech industry driven to create wealth in underserved communities through equitable real estate development. A graduate of the Gloucester Institute Emerging Leaders Program, his experience at Virginia State University, an HBCU, sparked his entrepreneurial journey. This led him to become a Venture for America fellow, relocating to Detroit, and later participating in the Change Collective Fellowship.

A member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Evans excels at communication and relationship building, prioritizing win-win partnerships that empower residents seeking housing and those building wealth through real estate. Eager to learn and collaborate, Evans sees the New Leaders Council as a platform to contribute to a more equitable future.
