Erin Waddles - 2024 NLC Washington DC Fellow

Erin Waddles is an educator, facilitator, and creative. She actively seeks experiences that center collaboration, innovation, & social justice, which has led to a professional background spanning project management, DEI consulting, student affairs, & college access.

She is building an organization that merges art and social justice to address the unique challenges faced by Black women, femmes, & gender expansive individuals. It is her belief that art has the power to illuminate truths, foster community building, amplify the voices of the unheard, and help us imagine radically just futures.

Erin holds a bachelor of arts in Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis and a M.S.Ed in Higher Education from the University of Pennsylvania.

She currently lives in Maryland with her partner and works as a DEI coordinator for an environmental advocacy organization. She loves reading speculative fiction, curating oddly specific playlists, and developing new recipes.
