Edward Rupia

Eddie comes with experiences at the local, state, and federal level of government and politics. He originally joined Congresswoman Pressley’s staff in December of 2020 with a focus on her immigration portfolio. He now serves the Massachusetts 7th Congressional District as a senior aide to Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley as Deputy District Director and Political Director. Eddie is also one of the few people of color working for a Massachusetts federally elected official in a senior role. Prior to joining Congresswoman Pressley, he was an aide to Senator Elizabeth Warren, organized with the New Hampshire Democratic Party, worked for the Hillary for America campaign in the state of Maine as a Fellow, and assisted in local races in Central Massachusetts. Eddie is a first generation American as his family is from Tanzania, and was raised in Central Massachusetts. He is currently a Boston resident and is a lifelong Celtics fan.
