Eduardo Zerbe - 2024 NLC New York City Fellow

Eduardo “Eddy” Zerbe is a voting rights advocate and nonprofit professional who has championed nonpartisan civic engagement efforts from the local to the national level. Currently serving as Deputy Director of the Students Learn Students Vote Coalition, he manages programs that support community leaders advancing college student voting rates nationwide.

Over the last decade, Eddy has advanced civic engagement initiatives for various organizations by collaborating with diverse stakeholders and communities, including leaders in sports, philanthropy, and civil rights. He began his career in his home state by co-founding MOVE Texas, a grassroots organization focused on youth political empowerment.

Outside his professional life, Eddy finds joy in exploring new places, connecting with people, and trying good food. Born in Mexico and raised in San Antonio, TX, Eddy is now a resident of Brooklyn, NY. He is a proud alumni of the University of Texas at San Antonio.
