Daryl Misrac – Oklahoma

Daryl Misrac is an advocate, auntie, sister, world traveler, community connector, and avid reader. As the Senior Director of Operations at Tulsa Remote, Daryl has spent the past two years bringing diverse, bright and driven individuals to the city of Tulsa for collaboration and networking with the goal of enhancing Tulsa’s talented workforce community. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Daryl graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelors in Communication and a double minor in Spanish and Business. She went on to become a pastry chef after training at the French Culinary Institute in New York City. A constant learner, Daryl has continued her studies in vinyasa yoga, leadership, stenography, WordPress web design and marketing over the past 10 years. Daryl made the move to Tulsa, OK from Los Angeles, CA in 2019 and immediately became involved with the community. She is the volunteer web designer of the Historic Vernon AME Church in Tulsa and has helped to fundraise over $90,000 to rebuild the church from the devastation of the Tulsa Race Massacre. In her free time, Daryl enjoys planning travel, hiking, reading and spending time with family.
