Danna Moreno Ibarra - 2025 NLC South TX Frontera Fellow
Danna M. Moreno Ibarra is currently a first generation student at Texas A&M International University, an immigrant and advocate. She believes that every person should have access to all essentials of living and volunteers with various organizations such as, S.C.A.N. Inc, United Way, Sacred Heart, Food Not Bombs and Laredo Immigrant Alliance, to promote local resources and local leaders. She is passionate about connecting people to programs and advocates who can provide support and comfort in moments of need. Through her passion she co-founded the Network for Opportunity, Progress, Advocacy and Liberation (N.O.P.A.L.). The organization serves to connect coalitions and leaders on a local level to strengthen the movements for change. With the support of her peers, she hopes to bring progressive legislation and opportunities.
