Courtney Jones (she/her) is an Oakland native who is passionate about giving back and providing resources to distressed communities. Courtney is a co-parent of two daughters, and an Operations Director and Senior Business Solutions Strategy Consultant for Managing Diversity Together Consulting, LLC. Her professional career includes the previous operator of an independent consulting company, in which she had a successful career in healthcare consulting, as well as Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion training and strategic planning for various businesses. As an advocate for social justice and racial equity from an early age, Courtney was the co-chair on the Chabot Elementary Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Equity and Inclusion Committee and the previous PTA President. She actively participates in her community as a board member for multiple community-based organizations. Courtney co-founded Girl Scout Troop 32009 seven years ago, and she enjoys leading her troop, which currently has over thirty girls, aged 5 through 12. She was the Girls Inc. of Alameda County 2019 Strong, Smart, and Bold Honoree, an Emerge California alum, and the Emerge Northern California Vice Representative for the Class of 2021. Courtney’s hobbies include crafting, sewing, roller skating, and visiting museums.
