Christopher Curtis Jr. - 2025 NLC Detroit Fellow
Christopher Curtis Jr. is a born and raised Detroiter from the city’s east side. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Bowling Green State University, where he helped established the university’s chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architecture Students (NOMAS). Christopher obtained his Master of Architecture from Miami University in Oxford, OH, earning the ARCC King Student Medal for Excellence in Architectural & Environmental Design Research. Currently, Christopher works as an Interior Architectural Designer at Oliver Max Inc., specializing in residential design that is both functional and visually striking. Passionate about fostering diversity in architecture, he is eager to inspire and guide youth, recognizing that meaningful change begins with engaging the next generation. Outside of work, he enjoys watching movies, reading, and hiking.
